Learning piano?

I'm thinking about starting to supply teach piano. How would I turn about doing this? would it be adequate to buy books, learn the chords etc and afterwards start playing music? how long does it take to be capable of learn music near as elaborate as " moonlight sonata" I am credibly perserverant but rather impatient, hence why I'm asking how long it shall purloin. Answers:    I've been playing the piano for 7 years and I've in recent times taken my Grade 7 exam (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music exam).
To teach piano you hold to have Grade 8, really. There are 8 grades.
I can play Moonlight Sonata, for example, but I would voice it took up to about belated Grade 5, early Grade 6 formerly I could really play it.
Unfortunately, it's not something that happens overnight, so if you're drastically impatient then it's probably not for you.
