Question:My teaching credential expired in June. I'm staying at home with my child now, so I'm taking five years off of work. What do you think I should do, renew it now or later? What steps do I take? Thanks!

If I were you, I would probably renew it now. You never know what new requirements California may come up with in 5 years so it may be harder to renew later without having to take extra tests. You can renew your credential online by going to www.ctc.ca.gov and click the link that says renew credential. Hope this helps :)
