Depends on my mood that day. Neither, they can inspire and they can be boring, but to answer the question as is read on. Role models if I'm into it and jailers if I'm restless and want to get out of there.
i see teachers as people who went to school, went to collage, went to uni, then back to school. adays hard graft would shock the pens from there pockets
I cant generalise that much. Some teachers are inspiring, and so excited and swept up in their subject they just carry you along with them. Others (a minority I think) have lost interest in their profession and are filling in time till they retire.
A happy, enthusiastic & caring teacher, is a role model to me.
Teachers can be role models. I would not think of them as "jailers" becuase they have to be at school, too, and take stuff from students and parents. I applaud any person who is able to get in front of 30 or so students, command attention and encourage them to learn something when they don't want to. Thanks to all the teachers out there!!
That entirely depends how the particular teacher do justice to the job of teaching, handling the relations with students and up keeping relevant values.
