My son applied to a school district in California while living on the east coast. 10 minutes after he applied, they called his cell phone & they offered him the job and paid his expenses to move to California. He's in an area that the government forgives his student loans for teaching.

The new teacher can go anywhere that accepts Texas certification. Some states have reciprocal agreements where the license is accepted in another state.
You can also inquire about obtaining certification in a state other than Texas from the state involved.
You obviously went to a school to obtain the coursed for certification. Inquire at that school.

Well, if your certificate is issued in Texas, why not start your search there? That seems to be the simplest thing to do.
