I ask a teacher to be my mentor?

Question:I started High School and i ask one of the teachers to be my mentor during dat time. That was a really bad thing to do fa me because she was harder on me then the rest of the kids. I was wondering what should i do this year. Should i talk to the teacher and ask her advice on different things or should i jus let her go and not talk to her anymore?

Answers:
Sometimes you may perceive that teachers are being hard on you and not the other children...however teachers may see your potential and want you to do your best...I would advise that if you think honestly her being your mentor DID NOT help you then don't ask her again...but if she did help you, I think first of all you should be thankful, second don't just stop talking 2 her, that's ungrateful. I hope this helps! Good Luck! :)
I would talk to a teacher you feel will better be able to help you. However I do not think you should give up with this teacher. Sometimes (I don't know your situation), you need some tough love.
