What should a school supply? Don't you think hot water and soap are a minimum?

Question:The school I work at doesn't have these things and rarely has toilet paper. As a result today a class of 37 had 20 students out with pink eye. If they washed properly I doubt it would spread that much. What do you think?

Answers:
Where I teach, they send the students home if there is no water. That is a public health violation in the US
That is not sanitary. It's hard enough to keep kids clean and healthy in the first place much less with 3rd world conditions. What's going on in your school district? Somebody taking the funds for themselves?
I'd say if you like your job, you have to do or say something.Should I say suggest those things to the school staff. There's a lot of way to explain.Show them that sanitation is a must. Tell them that you really care about your students health.
Get over it
you need to contact the human health and safety department AND the education board. You can choose to remain anonymous if you dont want to look like a snitch. This is unacceptable and jepoardising students potential to perform as well as they should, because of the previous 'pink eye' outbreak. make sure you tell them of this, and keep contacting them until something is done and someone at least goes to the school and inspects it
