What are some academic and professional goals a student can gain by majoring in business?

Question:

Answers:
It is really vast. I had a two friends who majored in business; one graduated and was a salesman of some sort; not doing too great initially.

The other one got on as an underwriter at a bank. He was responsible for approving loans based on people's credit.

I'm sure with that degree you could work in the mortgage business doing pretty much anything.

Also, any company would consider you for management; or you could be an accountant, or a financial advisor.

Also, our school (college) has a business office. The director deals with students making on time payments, keeping up with their financial aid; etc.

Business is a very broad field; you can do so much with a business degree.
It's a spring board to a better life. You can do much more with the degree and climb higher.
