It depends on how liberal it is.
1.In kindergarten students are taught about socialism and the welfare system. Little Johnny doesn't have school supplies because daddy left mommy and mommy is doped up. The responsible parents are now going to pay for Johnny's problem because everyone in the class is going to be forced to share with him...welfare. Though kids will willingly share (which is great) it should never be forced!
2. Socialism - Free and reduced lunches...need I say more?
3. Lack of discipline at school and later in life.
Bottom line: Kids are taught at an early age how the world really works and what they can expect if they become responsible adults...They'll pay for everyone elses way in life.
I rather think it`s the other way round. Education rarely affects society, it`s society which affects education, thereby making schools a microcosm of society.
It establishes the minimum limit of knowledge.
