What is the difference in these credentials?

Question:I need to know the difference between an NP and RN. Are they similiar or totally different?

Answers:
An NP can work in a doctor's office and see patients. The doctor reviews the charts and oversees the NP. An RN can not do a thing without an order from the doctor first. They are totally different.
An NP degree is in some states a more sought after degree since they can act as a primary-care provider.
