I am not a morning person so Im not getting up at 4am to study. I just dont know if I should study in the afternoon or before bed

First of all, you need to learn that it doesn't matter what your friends think. You need to figure what is best for you. Consider these questions...
When do I feel like I am learning the most? Able to concentrate? (personally, I was and still am a night person.)
Do I get distracted easily at that time?
How can I improve my study time?
The fact is, you are the only one that answer these questions about yourself. I hope this helps!
It is your schedule, so fill it out so you are comfortable with it.
never just stay stupid
Try 7-9 and if you don't like it or don't do it, change. Who cares when your friends think you should study? Everyone is different.
Physically, you will remember more of your home study (apart from the regular studies of homeschooling during the day) if you get it done BEFORE the relaxing evening hours.
I would suggest the 5 - 7pm hours, and then your body and mind are able to get into 'relax' mode before hitting the sack. Rather depends upon your age too. If you are a teen, your body needs at least 9 and a half hours of sleep nightly. So, go get 'em sunshine.
Always keep in mind that a rested mind is the most alert to grasp new things. Also, a fed mind will learn much better than one that is hungry so alway be sure you eat your meals in order to have good brain power for the job, especially breakfast. The later in the day you study, the harder it will be for your brain to retain things. Also, if you have had an entire day of learning, the brain will need a break to grasp it all before cramming in some more stuff. Either you need to get up and study before you start all your learning at school in the morning, or use the study halls that are assigned for that purpose during the day. If you are going to wait until you get home, then eat a good snack and relax a bit and then study. You will retain things much better than waiting too late at night to do it.
You should decide when you feel comfortable to study and not your frineds.
My suggestion would be,first make a note of what all you want to study,(Since I dont know what your sylabus is I cant teel you in detail), then assume yourself how much time you would nee dto finish that specific topic.
Next step plan how many hours a day you need to spend so that you can be up to date with your courses completing all the topics. If you are laggin behind and are not uo to date decide how much time and by when you wnat to finish it and then start studying repectively.
Need not spend all the time studying. Study for an hour (or even less if your are not comfortable)and then take a break and come back again to continue studying.
Initially you may feel a bit difficult to sit and study , but gradually you will develop that habbit.
I hope this helps you.I dont know whether this makes sense to you but still...
Ok do like 45 minutes of studying in the afternoon the day before the test and then that night so then you get to sleep on it. This always helps me!!
