Why do all clock/watch ads show the hands at "10:10"?

Most clock makers put their name above the center of the clock face. Displaying the hands at 10:10 frames the clockmaker's name making it more obvious.

It is suppose to make them look happy.
Actually, the reason they are placed in that manner may be because they are high up top and directly opposite each other. From a certain angle, the face seems like it is smiling.
IT GIVES THE BEST DISPLAY OF THE HANDS. IT IS MOST PLEASING TO THE EYES.
