What famous American was quoted as saying, "Revolution is good once in awhile"?

Question:First person to answer correctly gets 10 points! Now, I am speculating that he was talking more about democratic revolution as opposed to violent revolution, but that is what this country needs! A revolution in political, judicial, economic, and spiritual matters along the lines of the democratic process and American way constrained to the Constitution,...basically COMMON SENSE and the GOLDEN RULE! Let me know what you think?

Answers:
Can you believe that of all people that could have said this, it turns out to have come from Thomas Jefferson? When I first read it, I thought it was Karl Marx or some radical revolutionary. When I found out who said it, it made me think twice about him. I have to correct you a bit because his actual quote is "A revolution every now and then is a good thing."
thomas jefferson quote: "we should be having a revolution every 10 years"
