Why do men's clothes have buttons on the right while women's clothes have them on the left?

Question:

Answers:
Because, in the days when most women wore corsets, and other restrictive clothing that often buttoned up the back, another person was required to do the buttoning. As a result, since most people are right-handed, the buttons on the women's clothes were arranged so that they could be handled naturally by the second person. Men did most of their own buttoning, so their buttons were arranged in the opposite manner, so they could do it for themselves.
How come I never paid attention to that?
So men don't get too confused when they undress women.

Really it has to do with the history of fashion.
cuz girls r awesome-er! :)
it has to do with the times when the wealthy had people dress them. i read it somewhere but don't remember the whole thing.sorry.
