First virus invented and who and what country made it?

Question:

Answers:
The "creeper virus" was the first actual public virus. It crawled the ARPNET in the 1970's. It displayed the message "I am the creeper! Catch me if you can!". Whom actually developed this virus, or any of the early viruses, is unknown.

Before that, viruses was used as a game amongst nerd-programmers, where they would make each other a virus and then challenge each other to stop the virus before the other did. Back then they used assembler programming to roam through the computer.
