Here it is.
FACT: Earth has 57,268,900 square miles of land.
(1,596,565,301,760,000 square feet)
FACT: A person takes up ~2 square feet
FACT: The current population is: 6,728,993,743
FACT: Therefore when the population is: 798,282,650,880,000
there will be one human per 2 square feet of land.
Therefore:
If the population grows on an average of 2% a year, the above will happen in 65 years, in the year of: 2071
Answers:
I didn't bother checking your math but if nobody dies this will be a problem.
I'm too lazy to check the numbers, but if the world starts going this way then I predict genocides and wars, follwoed by widespread famine, and rampant disease/plagues.
Eventually the population will even out again.
If by some intervention we all become immortals... Yes it will happen
have you considered natural deaths floods wars tornadoes and even if you did doomsday is much closer than you think also need to think of trees if we cover up land that fast then we will alsoo kill plant life that fast and we cant live without plant life therefore my guss would be by your calculations that doomsday is more like 35 years away. not likely we have many years ahead of us stop worrying about the far futer with your small little brain
First of all, there will NEVER be a quadrillion people on Earth! You don't take into account that people will die. Second, your estimate are way wrong! It has recently come to my attention that the world census states that by 2050, the world will have 9 billion people. I don't remember the source, but it was legitimate.
Well your prediction would be correct if growth stays at an average of 2% and death rates don't change.
You should look at an age comparison. How many people will be dying in the next couple decades versus will be born.
I have no evidence, but I believe birth rates are lowering.
Your numbers were correct until your last calculation. At 2% growth per year, the population growth for the first year is about 134.57 million, 137.26 million in year 2;139.95 million in year 3 ... in 65 years (2071) the population growth for the year will reach 466.70 million for a total of 23.792 billion people. The 100th year would add 921.1 million, totalling 46.95862 billion. 200th year: +6.426 billion (total: 327.602 billion); 300th year: +44,830 billion (total: 2.3303 trillion).
... and that's .03% of the 798+ trillion number you were seeking.
[In truth... the human population could never reach the 1 trillion mark; there isn't enough arable land OR WATER on the planet to provide for that number!]
