wow, i just got back from ec.gc
i guess it was a hard question. the eagle is not on the list. however, in NS there are numerous endangered animals, many of which call lake Bras d"or home. (it's a LARGE ecosystem.

under BIRDS i found 3 endangered, 1 threataned and 6 of special concern. in REPTILES i found 1 endangered 1 threatened and 1 of special concern.

it's really a big list if you look at the other classes of animals.
The Cape Breton population of the American Marten is endangered.
