Who invented the question mark?

Answers:
The symbol is generally thought to originate from the Latin quæstio, meaning "question", which was abbreviated to Qo. The uppercase Q was written above the lowercase o, and this mark was transformed into the modern symbol.
Alternatively, There's also a theory that it was invented by the ancient Egyptians, originating from a glyph of a domestic cat, seen from behind, the curvy line the cat's tail, and the dot the cat's anus.
Perhaps there is no one ''inventor'' of the question mark, and it is merely the evolution of language that has it what it is today. Will that do?
