Don'tknow about fonts tho, but would imagine that a non-fussy font would be best.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean. But if you mean in Chat, then I use Verdana fonts with a 004080 colour value, size 9. Lots of people appreciate my font style and say it's very clear and nice. etc etc.
The most persuasive font, size and color combination I have seemed to settle upon, especially when doing e-mails is Times New Roman, Bold, Size 6, Royal Blue, Italic. I use the italic because it gives the text forward momentum. It's easier to read. Everyone is different, but I find this combo works just great most of the time. It also looks very nice to the eye. Sometimes I add stationery to the background to relax the impact a little, because if you set that up and look at it, it is extremely easy to read (from across the room!) so a light cream or warm beige is a nice accent and calms the psyche a little when needed.
Good luck to you juggling this sort of thing around. If it looks really good to you, it will tend to become representative of your style and people will subliminally associate that with you regardless. Experimenting with new combinations, you will soon find yourself what is absolutely right under each circumstance you are dealing with.
Take good care, now. - Chris!
