I have a series 2001 $5 bill with a little crown on the front side and the letters "ct" under it. Any meaning?

Question:The crown and lettering is right beneath the word "The" on the upper right hand area near the picture of Lincoln. I had never noticed that before and wondered what the significance of it was.
