Is Washington, Connecticut the town that inspired stars hallpw from the gilmore girls?

Question:if yes can someone please send pictures ive been looking everywhere and i cant find any pics and if thats not the place that inspired stars hollow please tell me and send pics please please please

Washington Depot CT did inspire Stars Hollow but you have to remember Stars Hollow is built on a backlot at Warner Bros studio and it most likely will look nothing like Washington Depot. From what the creator said it seems like the focused more on the smallness of the town, everyone knowing wach and such rather then the actual layout.
I can tell you that the opening credits has some shot from washington Depot.
The town of Stars Hollow is based on Washington Depot, Connecticut. Creator Amy Sherman stayed there while on a trip with her husband to look at Mark Twain's wallpaper.
