Spiders in our sleep?

Question:Is it true that we swallow spiders in our sleep. Apparently someone told me EVERYONE does it without knowing, and I just can't imagine myself doing that. Especially since I sleep on my stomach with my head underneath a pillow every night.

Answers:
Just think about this. Millions of people around the world swallow something creepy-crawly in their sleep EVERY day. Why not spyders?
that is false. when u are awake and something unwanted goes into ur mouth,do u just let it keep crawling? NO, u react. Your instincts doesnt rest when u are sleeping. so if something were to crawl in ur mouth while u are sleeping, ur natural instinct would be to spit it out or wake up. not swallow it.
The way you sleep ought to keep anything out of your mouth, including fresh air! ;-}

No, I doubt everyone swallows spiders in their sleep, though a friend of mine has been bitten on the mouth by a possible spider when she was asleep. Her lip swelled up. (She also may have bitten herself. [a mean little lol])

She's the only person I've ever heard of that happening to, and I'm really, really old...so I should know, right? And I've never heard the "swallowing spiders" bit, either. Life's gettin' crazier, innit?

snopes.com debunked this one easily.
its true, but its only around 8 money sized spiders in a lifetime, just make sure to brush your teeth every morning, just in case. well would you want to kiss someone with spider legs in their mouth hmmmm let me think about that, ermmm NOPE!
