All denominations will be worth exactly what the amount states in numbers and letters on each bill. There is no such thing as an asterisked $1 bill being worth $100! Your friend is just pulling your leg! Just take it to any bank and wait to be laughed at, sorry!

Don't listen to these fools. I drew a asterisk on a few bills to make a couple of extra dollars for the weekend. Then I stuffed them down the throat of my terrible wife while she was asleep and took a few hundred bucks out of her purse.
