i heard that someone recited pi from memory (as far as he could memorize) and it took him 8 hours to do so. he's in "Ripleys believe it or not", i think.
well, pi day is 3/14/07, but if u want to know an intrseting fact, heres one:

If you take Pi to 50 decimal places and use that to find the curcumfrence of the milkyway, you'll only be off by one proton
A = pi*r^2
C=pi*d
