What is the largest mountain in the world?

Question:

Answers:
Hawaii's Mauna Loa volcano is the world's largest mountain in cubic content with an estimated volume of 9,600 cubic miles (40,000 cubic kilometers). Mauna Loa is 13,681 feet (4,170 meters) high.

While Mt. Everest is the world's tallest mountain above sea level, Mauna Loa is still quite spectacular.

I always thought it was everest.odd :)

Perhaps it is the african mountain
Kilimanjaro but I typed "Largest mountain" in google and found the Mauno loa!!
Kilimanjaro in Tanzania at 19,340 feet high. (5895 meters)

Second search, for Mt. Everest, shows it to be the highest in world (it's been disputed, but not now... ) at 29, 035 feet, in the Himalayas, [Tibet-Nepal] also put at 8,850 meters.

(for first search I put in "largest mountain"... hmmm)

No head for figures: how does one calculate cubic meters, I wonder...
