HOWEVER, it has been discovered (accidentally (One would hope)) that polar bears WILL eat penguins, if given the opportunity in the zoo. Because they eat penguins.

Because there is a planet between the two of them. However, that doesn't mean they won't eat a penguin if it happens to be offered to them (imported from the other side of the planet). Seals eat penguins, as do large ill tempered sharks.
It would be a very long swim from the Artic to Antartica...about 12,000 miles..to far for take out!
