My most favorite word, though hard to work into conversation is "penultimate" meaning "second to last". A close second is "surreal" which is also rather hard to work into conversation. I picked up the word "titch" while living in Canada. Though I am not sure it is a real word, it means a small amount. Care for sugar in your tea? Yes, just a titch!!
