many usful and amusing new wordds came into our language during world war 2. now these words are familiar to most americas. one of these odd words is gremlin. during the war, fliers were often troubled by mysterious mechanical malfunctions. not knowing what caused these problems, they joked that gremlins-small,mischievous creatures-were in the aircraft. these gremlins could be helpful as well as harmful. many fliers claimed they had miraculously escaped danger only because the gremlins had come to their rescue. artists drew the imps as little men with beards and top hats who played all over the planes.

Well, we can't help you then.
.
words, language, world, americans, gremlin, fliers, creatures, aircraft, artists, imps, men, beards, top hats, planes.
This does not include duplicated nouns.
But can I please comment that the authour of this paragraph is clearly stupid as they have insinuated that english is the language of the Americans and the americans only!
They are rather dumb.
I counted 25 but some of yours are wrong on your list.
You have to count some words over & over, like gremlins, and NOT count things like joked, which is a verb.
Just count the real nouns, even if they come up over & over. The only one I thought was hard was "rescue", but you need it to make up the 25, so use it, too.
That's too big :-)
