Does "the epitome of perfection" not make sense?

Question:I'm using it to describe something and I'm not sure if it is makes sense...

If not, any examples that mean the best of the best?

Answers:
It makes sense. It is a little redundant.

You could say "She is perfection."

However, epitome means " a standard or typical example."

So that means that "She is the epitome of perfection." is saying she is the perfect example of perfection.
How much more redundant can you get?
That is why "She is perfection." is really a more powerful statement.

Yes it does make sense although some may argue that 'the epitome' part is redundant because someone is either perfect or they are not. You could say 'perfection personified' or 'perfection incarnate'.
Sure it does. Epitome means a typical example. He is the epitome of perfection. He is an example of perfection.
