Did your family ever pass down word/phrases that they made up themselves?

Question:What were some of those? One word my family created was "breaklish" meaning fragile. As a kid, I thought it was a real word until someone made fun of me. Anyone have one of these words/phrases in their family that you found out wasn't real?

Answers:
when someone gets mad, my brother tells them to "chilax"

you know how families always have a name for the grandparents like pawpaw and granny? well, guess what we called ours? Goggy. I thought everyone called their grandmother that until i was like, a teenager.
Oh yeah... lot's of them. I guess it was never really embarressing, in that they were all phrases (or maybe i was too young to know if they were laughing with me or at me! lol). Also, they'd use yiddish words, which I misunderstood and would say incorrectly, only to find out I was wrong. Worst of all, I found out some were insults! Such as shmuck and noodnick (not noodnick as much i suppose... that's just a funny name).
