Has anyone ever heard of a spanish eight piece?

Question:The Spanish dollar (also known as the "piece of eight" or the eight real coin)?
it is "spanish treasure" if you dont know about its backround please dont give advice or answers.
my grandfather gave my one with the authenticity letter. and i know its may be a prize posession for some ppl but not for me. its just taking up space (what little space it is) but still,. well down to the point of the ?...
does anyone know how much it may be worth? or how i can go about selling it and making sure i get what it is worth, not getting ripped off?
