I would use a semi colon (;) rather than another comma after Last, First. I would also change the comma after selected to a colon (:).
To solve the order issue in his Outlook contacts, I selected (no comma here, the rest of the sentence is fine). I changed the Default "Full Name" order to Last, First. Then I closed outlook and restarted.
