they're either sad or a sod.
I think submitting an answer that has been checked for spelling and grammatical errors show pride in a person.
It is not like it is required however, all you have to do is check spelling and the spell checker will show errors, and will show alternatives.
It is a good idea to spell check everything you write. In today's world it is easy to do so.
I do think it is usually in poor taste to correct a person who has not bothered to check their work. The one excuse for this poor behavior is if their writing is an unwarranted attack on another.
The sites below may assist you in correcting your work if you want to.
Errr... because there are quite a few examples where it's very difficult to read and understand a person's question because their spelling and/or grammar is so poor.
They are educated snobs,
.smug '' plastic'' and a pain in the a.se.
Think some people like to nit pick. Why worry about them life's too short.
It's probably cos they opened up the question to answer it, and then discovered that someone else had already given 'their' answer (or something close). But they still want the 2 points, so they pick at the spelling, grammar, etc instead.
Of course, it's sometimes just the fingers on the keys that go werong. (My own keyboard is in a dark place, for example, so I can' really see the keys.)
There's no excuse for not proofreading your own question before you submit it. If you hope for accuracy in the answers you receive, you should show us the same courtesy by asking an accurate question. A person hoping to give a proper and considered response shouldn't have to muddle through incoherent mumblings to ferret out the actual question.
It is hard to make out what the question is with bad spelling, sometimes you could think the question has a different meaning to that which was intended.
Why do they have a spell check if not to use it
There is nothing sad about doing something properly.
Because spelling and grammar need to be correct to make sense. For example:- "There was no food so I ate the cats".
Compare meaning with "There was no food so I ate the cat's"
