Enthusiasm is positive interest; to be enthusiastic is to show that you think something is good.

the meaning is to be...either........eager or keen to get something done....(In other words, you put every possible effort you can into the project at hand...whether that project turned out good or bad, it doesn't matter...you showed enthusiasm).....
