As ukquilter mentioned, kezia is a biblical name that found some limited popularity around that time. I don't know your source for finding your ancestor, but there were many cases of names being recorded incorrectly due to a clerk unfamiliar with the name just guessing at someone's poor handwriting. The Hezia/Kezia dynamic may stem from that.

I can only find an old English name, Kezia, which was popular with the Puritans in the 17th century. It's from the bible and means 'cinnamon' in Hebrew. Nothing under K.
