Is the phrase "based on" used correctly in "based on the one true God"? Thanks?

Question:--------------------
Marriage contract is a very important thing that will be unforgettable in someone’s life journey. It is religious devotion and a sign of sacredness of the relationship between a man and woman which is based on God’s command and the Prophet Muhammad’s Sunnah (custom as embodied in hadith literature) and as the laying of cornerstone in establishing a happy and long-lasting family (household) "based on the one true God."

Answers:
'The One True God' is a noun here and use will be correct, if written as I have written it, to make it look like name of One (Almighty God).
Hope it is clear.
