How do you word invitations to a housewarming?

Question:do you put in ideas for gifts?

Answers:
I have seen this done a couple of different ways. Typically, you don't through a housewarming for yourself. A friend or relative does. The invitation can be as simple or as elegant as you would like: We've Moved!" or "You're Cordially Invited to Help Us Welcome Jane Doe to A New Home". If this is a first home and a friend is sending the invitations, a few suggestions or places you are registered can be listed. To me, it is more polite to include an RSVP number so guests can call and let you know whether they will be able to attend and gifts can be discussed then. If you are sending the invites yourself, I wouldn't mention gifts. Just let your friends and family enjoy your company in your new surroundings.
