i remember when i was a freshman. damn i was so nrevous and so scared. especially when i went to the orientation and saw the school i thought i was going to get lost! its not bad at all. try to make new friends and try to stay friends with the girls you have now. just dont be a follower and get into bad/ stupid stuff. try and have fun. my frshman year wasnt really too bad. the teachers were pretty nice. think of it as going into 6th grade and just finishing 5th. good luck! :)
No matter how hard you try to convince people to be themselves and not follow the latest trends in high school, they are going to. I am a prime example. I fancied myself quite unique however when I entered high school we were all the same, trying to be something we weren't and trying to become just like all the cool kids. My advice would be, if you don't want to follow the crowd don't. Let other people do what they want but you are in high school to learn and to prepare you for the real world(how ever I think my high school did a crappy job on that one).
I just graduated last June and once I got it through my head that I was there to learn and not to play it became a lot easier and a lot less work.
:D
there's nothing wrong with making new friends. it's a part of life.
once high school is over, roughly 95% of the people you knew in high school are not going to be your friend as soon as college really kicks in.
so yea, you're going to have to start getting used to meeting new people.
make new friends!!
but keep ur old ones too
don't trip that your friends moved most of the time when you go to a new school you just fall into place where you fit in.
