I understood Emo to be one who acts with fake emotion. Such as that emo kid cuts himself becuase his parents took away his cell phone. You know those kids who want there lives to suck cause they think its cool to be fucked up.

Emo as I understand it is similar to Goth but different in the fact that an Emo is an 'em'otional person that dresses similar to a Goth, but also damages themselves for attention.
