Answers:

J.112.Very elegant WWI German "patriotische" coffe cup and matching saucer. Both are porcelain made by H & C Heinrich, Bavaria and Handmalet ( hand painted) in Danmark. The gold rim saucer is 6 1/8" in diameter. The matching coffee cup is also hall marked Thomas, Bavaria and is numbered 212/2225 2142. The cup's pedestal base has a large gold rim as does the top of the cup's interior and handle exterior. The cup has a large logo of the 1914 Iron Cross with the Prussian crown above it. The cross has a semi wreath around it and the black script slogan "Gott war mit uns, Ihm sei die Ehre!, below. The cup is 4 1/2" high with the mouth diameter being 3 1/4" across. This set was obviously well commissioned using Danish hand painters and Bavarian porcelain artisians....A very nice ensemble.........................
